TITLE: Official Description Change: Unsigned Iowa 983 Warren County

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 98-TJ-005 between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the City of Carlisle transferred unsigned Iowa 983 to the City of Carlisle on August 3, 1998.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that unsigned Iowa 983 be deleted from the Primary Road System.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a minor relocation of Iowa 5 in Warren County, the old section of Iowa 5 became Iowa 983.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 983 in Warren County be added to the Primary Road System, as described in the attachment

Carlisle:

Beginning at Market Street, then southeast 370 meters (1,214 feet), parallel to relocated Iowa 5.
